Inserting yourself into the background

 Friday, 3/26- Wed. 3/31

1. Find 4 jpg pics that you can use for a background

2. Take pics of yourself posed in a position/ stance where you will be able to be inserted into the picture

3. Cut out yourself and save each pic as a tif tile

4. Complete the project for 3 of your 4 backgrounds.

**2 will be due for Wednesday, 3/31

5. Insert and resize yourself (ctl T) into the background

**You may have to duplicate the original background if you are inserting yourself between object in the original.

Collage

. Using your third marking period skills, take at least 6 pics.  (this is a minimum)

Make it a collage that you would hang up!

Remember to 

-Make a copy and delete

-Save as a TIF File

-Rename in a logical order (ex: 1,2,3,4,5,6)

1. make an 8W x 11W master page.  (You can put a color or background on it when you have created your collage)

2. cut them out.
3. Save as a transparency, tif file
4. Make a collage.
5. Minimal  white space


Requirements:

1.All pics must be relative in size on your collage
2. You must have a title with a drop shadow that stands out on top of the collage.
3. You must have a theme to your collage:  Ex: underclassmen, my friends, me, etc....

Tips:
Transform: CTL T
(Hold SHIFT, grab end of the pic and resize.  HIT ENTER when finished

Move from original to MASTER PAGE

-Pictures MUST be school appropriate
-Your project will be shared with the entire class when it if finished

WHEN YOU ARE TOTALLY FINISHED, SAVE YOUR MASTER PAGE AS A JPG

Tutorial: Quick Selection Tool

Friday, 3/12 we are going to complete a Photoshop tutorial

1. Hover over the QUICK SELECTION TOOL

2. A picture box will pop up

3. Click on LEARN MORE

4. Follow the directions and the blue boxes

5. Complete the tutorial

Turn it in to your tvstudio folder.  Name it : QT Tutorial

QUICK SELECTION TOOL

 Type 2- Quick Selection Tool


1. You can cut out using any of the selection tools.

2. Using any of the selection tools.

A. call up your picture in Photoshop

B. Make a Copy

C. Delete the original

D. Select the     QUICK SELECTION TOOL

E. At he top, select Subject

F. Add a Mask (The tool is located under the layer panel)

NEXT: OPTION 1



G. Click on the picture side next to the mask

H. Select your ERASER tool

I. Adjust the levels

J. Begin to erase fine spots


OPTION 2

IF TOO MUCH WAS CUT OFF:

1. CLICK ON THE MASK SIDE OF THE LAYER AND USE YOUR ERASER TOOL TO REBUILD THE PHOTO

K. Save AS a TIFF file

9. Check TRANSPARENCY Box

10 Make sure to rename

Cutting out

 Cutting out:

1. Using the Eraser Tool

Learning to cut out in photoshop

1. import picture
2. Make a copy of the picture
3. delete the original picture layer
4. Go to the eraser tool

5. Adjust settings (Size of the eraser)

Erase an area of your picture


6  Save as tiff file
7. check transparency box
