2. Review PowerPoint
3. Students will review EDITORIAL NOTES and sample editorials
4. Students will complete workbook activities 3 and 4 on pgs. 176-178


5. Students will brainstorm ideas for an editorial
6. Students will research their topic and form an outline
7. Students will begin rough research  by Friday, 2/16- turn in research  with citations to www.turnitin.com

8. Students will complete Editorial Columns by Wednesday, 2/21

9. After you are finished with your article, you will put together a PowerPoint presentation utilizing your article.
8. Students will present articles to the class on Friday, 2/23

I looked over your editorials from yesterday.

Many of you failed to write an article.  Some wrote a short paragraph or two about their opinions.
This was not the assignment.  READ the directions.

Please follow the directions below:
1 using the outline/ format on pages 287-88 of your text, write two editorials using the information provided to you in your Journalism Today workbooks.

2. Turn in typed assignments to the teacher:
 Complete Activity 4 on page 176-77 in the workbook
Complete exercise 3 on page 175 in the workbook
Compile a list of questions if you are confused about any of the content for this assignment


Remember, use the rules we read about.
Follow the format presented in the text.
