REVIEW WRITING
1.       Students will review PowerPoint on Writing Reviews 

2.       Students will take notes on each type of reviews that they can write

3.       Students will view examples of prior reviews written and watch videos of infomercials




4.       Students will brainstorm ideas for reviewing a product or service

5.       Students will use/try/experience the product they plan on reviewing

6.       Students will complete the Review Writing Prompter

7.       Students will begin rough drafts of reviews

8.       Students will participate in peer review and/or conference about improvements that can be made on each review

9.       Students will complete and submit their review article by Wednesday, April 17th

10.   Students will present their review articles to the class on Wednesday, April 17th



Review Assignment Prompt :

Choose to review a new restaurant, book, film, television show, website, product, or app. This review must be of a current product or service AND relevant to the audience.

4. Students will complete workbook activity 4 on p. 176


5. Students will brainstorm ideas for an editorial
6. Students will research their topic and form an outline
7. Students will begin rough drafts by Thursday, 3/7
