Welcome back! I hope you had a restful vacation.
This week we are going to complete our articles.
(The deadline for the Student Times is on 11/14. Your articles must be turned in by Thursday or Friday to be considered for the issue)

-Follow the inverted pyramid
-Use ample detail. (make sure your reader understands what you are writing about....Never assume they know anything!)
Wednesday and Thursday: Finalize your rough draft. Have your articles peer edited by 4 people...They must mark your paper and sign it at the bottom.
**Any peer editor who writes "Good JOb!" and I find mistakes will have points deducted from their grade. Proof well!
Friday: Final Draft is due by the end of the period. NO EXCUSES, NO EXTENSIONS! We have been talking about this deadline for two weeks.
