Monday, 2/24: Students will watch a PowerPoint on conducting surveys
Tuesday, 2/25: Begin to read the section on surveys in Journalism Today.
Students will read the assigned pages 71-79
In groups, students will come up with key topics from the reading
Each group will be assigned a topic and present it to the class

2. Students will create and conduct their surveys (200 total)
3. Students will utilize statistical information in their articles
Wednesday, 2/26 - Friday, 2/28- Students will complete surveys, interviews, research and rough drafts
Monday, 2/3 - Survey check: You must have at least 100 surveys completed
Thursday, 2/6: All surveys are due (100 pts) ; Students will work on their rough drafts
Friday, 2/7: Students will complete and turn in their rough drafts
**There will be checks for points throughout the week

Each day, you will read one news articles from a current Times Leader. You must respond to one of the articles each day. There is a comment box at the bottom of the blog. Please be sure to type the following information:

Tuesday, 2/12 -completed interviews due by 2:40- If they are not turned in, points will be deducted
ALL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WILL BE TURNED IN TO http://www.turnitin.com/

**Remember, once you have your interviews, you may start writing your rough drafts
