Title Quiz

Goal: Students will be introduced to KEYFRAMES

Goals of Keyframes:
1. Learn to spread and grow content
2. Change motion
3. Change color
4. Change position
5. Resize



Keyframes Quiz:

Key frame quiz

Part 1 1. Students will log on and go to the TV studio server

2. Create a new Adobe Project : Place it in your video folder and name it: Keyframe Quiz 1
(Make this folder in YOUR folder.)

3. Save your Save your project in this new folder

4. Use one background or background theme.

5. Using your name, Create a new title

6. Center on screen

7. Using keyframes

A. Make your title spread and grow twice it's size

B. This will occur in the middle of your project

C. Your title will remain in it's original size at the beginning and end of the video

D. Your video must pause in the middle (Use two keyframes in the center to accomplish this.



Part 2
Change the motion:
Make your title travel around your screen
It must move either from top to bottom or side to side
Also, make it rotate @ 90 degrees
  once it stops moving, make it spin 360 degrees

Part 3
E. Your title must fade in and fade out

F. Export your completed project to your new folder and call it "Final Quiz 1"

Movies- Current movies, titles, actors
Book- Title, author, genre
Video game/ system - type and features
Play-Title, actors, genre
Product- Name, cost, where sold
Website- address, purpose
Restaurant - Name, type of food, prices, atmosphere


1. Students will be introduced to the basic rules of review writing.

2. Students will discuss how to create a product review.

3. Students will understand how to incorporate details into their own product review.

4. Students will explore the greatest type of review: The INFOMERCIAL

Think of the favorite item / gadget you have purchased / own (Ipod, Iphone, etc). Write a brief paragraph discussing why you like this item. Include some of its features. Discuss how it works. Cite five reasons someone should buy this product.

Assignment:

1. Students will complete the writing activity listed above

Teacher/ students will discuss the importance of details in writing

2. Students will go over a basic PowerPoint explaining the general purpose of a review article

Photo Shop Lesson : Mosaic


PHOTO MOSAIC WITH SCHOOL PORTRAITS
STEP 1: Find the Photo you want to use and Open it in Photoshop
( TV Studio> Classes > Journalism 1> Mosaics> School Pic)
STEP 2: Gather the Student Pictures you want to Use
( Tv Studio> Classes> Journalism1> Mosaics> Student Pics)
Step 3: Open Photoshop, choose File> Automate. Contact sheet II, It will then open a Dialog Box, Input the Path to the STUDENT PICTURES into the box, Then turn off Auto Spacing, ( this will remove the names from the Final) Then Insert 19 into the ROW and 10 Into the Colum Spaces. Then Click OK
STEP 4 : Photoshop will Make a Sheet with all of the pictures on them, DO NOT TOUCH THEM, Save it in YOUR FOLDER AS UNDERCLASSMAN, Then go to Edit> Define Patten and Name it Underclassmen
STEP 5: Go back to your original Photo and go down to the Adjustment Layers and RIGHT CLICK and click pattern, It will apply the Student Photos and will ask you what zoom you want your pattern to be, Set it at 100% and click OK.
Step 6: Click on the Layers Panel and Click on the Blending layer, and make it go to Overlay.
STEP 7: Using the Move tool Align the Students so they Start on the Top of the Photo, Then Save it in your Folder as Mosaic 1
